ClockworkMod Recovery v6.0.1.2

Member ere95588 has released a updated cwm recovery for the s7_10x series

Link: CM recovery.img

Install:
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img

Working:
- backup / restore
- install .zip / update.zip
- adb !!
- mount sd internal / external
- mount usb storage
- sd partition

so, i have been reading this forums since early morning, more a few hours yesterday night.
In the end what i noticed?

There are here a great group of developers
We already have CM9 and CM10 partially working.

but for some reason, somehow in the end of last year the interest to make a great rom has vanished. i dont see good posts from this year for example.

today i tried a few roms but in the end what does matter for this tablet?

In my humble opinion, it matters not loose functions

This is Android 4.1 / CM10 Rom based on the great PARANOIDANDROID work.
The great advantage of this rom is that it lets you scale every app, just by editing your Apps Dpi & Layout under Settings/Paranoid Settings -> so, no more Google Play problems... :D
It works on the S7-105 and may work with others 10x...??

Remember this is work-in-progress, so some things don't work as expected (yet?) !!!

Hi, I need your expert opinions regarding my S7. It refuses to turn on or power up either with the battery or the charger plugged after an "unsuccessful" firmware upgrade. Did I brick my tablet?

I have already successfully upgraded from the stock 2.1 to 2.2.2 (Indo ROM) previously. Then recently, my S7 hung on the "IDEOS" logo after powering-up. Tried hard reset, recovery and fast-boot to no avail. So I eventually decided to re-flash via SD using 2.2.2 Indo ROM again. During the upgrade...

after made private conversation with odienas this afternoon, finally we have froyo firmware ready to download.

This update has been confirmed to work with:
S7-103, Indonesian version with dual cameras internal/external sdcard
S7-104, US BestBuy/RadioShack version with dual cameras and internal/external sdcard

Partially working:
S7-101, Austria Mobilkom version - loses camera, GPS?
S7-103, New Zealand - loses GPS?
S7-105, Globe telecom Philippines
S7-105, Australian version...

Huawei S7 photo problem. . .

Hi guys

I'm having a problem with my S7. All of a sudden last week it couldn't open any photos anymore. Not any of the pictures that were stored on the phone or new photos which I downloaded, recieved or took.
I'm getting the error message: "Image "/mnt/sdcard/DCIM/Camera/IMG_20130410_080122.Jpg" is not supported"
Anyone got any ideas on what the problem is?

Link2sd Won't Recognize Second Partition

I have an S7-104 with the Norwegian 2.2.2 ROM, rooted.
I'd like to use link2sd to move as many apps as I can because I am constantly running out of memory.
Using instructions found in a variety of places online, I made a 1gb new, primary, ext2 partition on my internal SD card, using minitool.
I installed link2sd from the market, and so far, I cannot get it to recognize the additional partition. I tried fat32 formatting, no luck there either. Re-booted several times, no joy.
Any ideas?

hi everyone, i have a s7 104 version, it just wont boot up and just stuck at huawei logo.

what i have done is pull out battery and insert, remove memory card and sim card but all is not working

please help me ya.

Huawei has fixed G-sensor problem for the recent ROMS, so i

pulled the files from S7 slim Indonesian ROM to patch existing ROM.

Read this before applying any updates/patch,
All updates/patch is compatible for Ideos S7 running ROM slim mod : S7-201uV100R001C106B011-TRZmod-0.2

other Ideos S7/S7 slim may apply patch partially but i didn't test it, so make...

My son has a Huawei S7 Slim Tablet. And last night he was using is ad the screen locked. Now he is unable to use his tablet because we cant get the screen to respond to his unlock code. I have tried the following.
  • Keeping the battery out
  • Holding the back and the volume button when turning it on
  • And I downloaded the dload.rar file and added it the the micro SD card and rebooted the tablet. With this I get the status bar and all 3 buttons keep blinking.:confused:...

Slim s7 wont turn on

I bought a used S7 (i believe 201?) and today my gf was using it and she said it just shut off. i figured it was cause it died. but when i connected to a USB charger outlet it wont start up or even show the battery symbol. any ideas?

Do i need the actual outlet charger? will a mini usb work?
also when i connect it to the desktop with the usb, computer see the device..

Any help would be appreciated

Im a noobie here and I need help fixing my wallpaper on my s7-105. It's rooted and running on 2.2.2. However my wallpaper doesnt show up properly, and if it did it's only showing 50% or less.. Any here can help me??
